The Polar Express

The Polar Express came to Lubbock and my Mom got us tickets! We got to take to Polar Express Train to the North Pole to get Santa and some of his elves! Amber had to work, so her and the twins were not able to go with us. We wish they could have been there too! We had so much fun! Kelton and Caden really had a great time! Jace and Gage had fun too, but they were too young to really get that they were riding on a Choo Choo Train! It was really neat for me...It was my first time on a train too!

The Conductor was so nice. He even let Kelton wear his Conductor Hat. They served Hot Cocoa and Cookies. They also told the Polar Express Story and everyone sang Christmas Carols. They kept us entertained the whole time. (The kids were happy just looking out the window!) When we got to the North Pole, Santa got on the train and rode back to Lubbock with us. He came and talked to all the kids and asked them what they wanted for Christmas and gave them each a bell...just like on the movie! Kelton kept asking if we could hear his bell. (If you haven't seen the movie...The bells that Santa gives the kids can only be heard if you believe in Santa.) It was too cute!
