The Rodeo and Carnival

Some friends of ours gave us some tickets to the Rodeo last Wednesday. They were really good box seats! :) We had a great time! This was Michael's first time to ever go to a Rodeo! Can you believe that?? Anyways, it was the first time taking the boys too! They all really enjoyed it. Gage really enjoyed the popcorn! ;) My parents used to always take us to the Rodeo when we were kids. I used to cry every time! LOL! I was always so afraid that they were hurting those poor little animals! Well, I did not cry this time! I'm not gonna lie, I did have to turn my head a few times. I still can't stand to watch it if I think the animals are going to get hurt. Guess some things just don't change!

We left the Rodeo early to let the boys see the Carnival. Kelton LOVED the Carnival! We only let him ride a couple of rides because (a.) It was really late since the Rodeo started at 7:30... and (b.) It was so stinkin' expensive!!! The rides were 3-4 tickets each....which means 3-4 dollars each (per person). Kelton had to have an adult ride on some of the rides so it was pretty expensive!

The Flying Tigers...My Grandpa flew in the Flying Tigers in the War!
Mommy and Kelton :)
Gage was exhausted! He NEVER falls asleep in the car...
Amber asked us to go back to the Carnival Sunday with them because it was Dollar Day, so we went back Sunday afternoon for a whole afternoon of fun! Amma came over to watch Gage so he could stay home and get a nap in. (Thanks Amma!!) He was too little for the rides anyway. Stephanie called and asked if she and Tristan could "tag along". We had so much fun! My laptop is acting funny right now so I will have to post those pics later...

A Texas boy - born and raised - and NEVER been to the rodeo? Crazy.
